Clash Of Guild

Privacy policy

This page explains which data Clash Of Guild (Android, iOS, web and Telegram) processes, why, and what your rights are. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.

Data we collect

  • Account and game save: player ID, player and village name, your village's progress (buildings, army, resources, gems), your clan, in-game telegraphs and clan chat messages, and your list of blocked players.
  • Sign-in methods: the ID given by the provider you link; for Google and Apple, your email address; for Telegram, your user ID, name and username; for Google Play Games, your player ID and nickname. We don't store your passwords or the providers' access tokens (only the token Apple gives us is kept encrypted, so that we can remove the link with Apple).
  • Device: a device ID generated by the app (only its one-way hash is stored), platform, game version, language and time zone.
  • Connection: a shortened IP address (the last part is removed) and session information.
  • Notifications: if you allow notifications, a notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
  • Reports: if you report a message or a player, the report, the reported content and the reported player's ID.

We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and the app doesn't send crash reports.

Why we use it

  • To create your account, save your village and let you open it on other devices.
  • To run the game: the world map, clans, trade, battles, messages and notifications.
  • To keep the game safe: preventing cheating and abuse, and handling reports.
  • To answer support requests.

Who it is shared with

Your data is shared only with the service providers needed to run the game: server hosting, sign-in providers (Google, Apple, Telegram) and the notification service (Google Firebase). Your player name, village name, clan and the messages you send are visible to other players. Your data isn't passed to third parties unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Your data is kept while your account is open. When you delete your account it is closed immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days (Account deletion). To prevent reward abuse, a one-way hash of the sign-in method and the audit records of admin actions may be kept.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data and to ask for it to be corrected or deleted (GDPR, KVKK and similar laws). You can delete your account in the game; for other requests, write to support@clashofguild.com.

Children

We don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you notice that this has happened, write to us and we will delete the account.

Changes

If this policy changes, we publish the current version on this page.
